Do you want to take your upcoming online or blended courses to the next level? Do you need some extra help as you teach online? If so, the Center for Online Learning is excited about providing 4 Saturday workshops sessions along with individual appointments for full time faculty and adjuncts who want to take that the next step in their teaching. Some of the topics to be covered during the sessions will be student centered learning, multimedia development, effective communication strategies, Moodle grading and advanced tools, and a look into the future of online learning here at FPU. This training is for FPU faculty and staff. April 18, 2015 – Participants will learn about student centered learning and the application of this concept to online/blended courses. Strategies will be shared that will make you a better facilitator of learning and increase collaboration with your students. The Moodle grade book will be covered in detail allowing you to let Moodle do the work so you can facilitate and interact with your students.
