3

Verify Your Migrated Videos (April–May)

All Vidgrid videos have been migrated to WeVideo. Visit your WeVideo dashboard to confirm everything is there. Zoom recordings older than 13 months with no plays were not migrated. If any videos are missing, download them from Vidgrid and upload to WeVideo β€” see instructions here.

Important: Any new videos created in Vidgrid between April 15 and June 30 will need to be manually downloaded and re-uploaded to WeVideo to preserve them. Vidgrid access ends permanently on June 30, 2026.
4

Update Vidgrid Embeds in Your Courses

Vidgrid video embeds in Canvas will stop working on July 1, 2026. Begin updating your active course shells and master templates with new WeVideo links and embeds. Academic Program Leads should prioritize updating evergreen content in master course shells.

5

Challenge Yourself β€” Play, Innovate, Create

Create a course overview video. Overlay quiz questions on a TED Talk. Use the Ken Burns effect to animate photos as you narrate. Start from a WeVideo template. Practice blurring sensitive information in a video. The best way to learn is to dive in and experiment!
