Online Teaching Certification

Before faculty are assigned to teach an online or blended course for the first time they should be able to use Moodle, the university’s Learning Management System to create an online course learning environment that incorporates clear instructions, effective communication, appropriate and varied learning activities, and helpful learning resources.
 
The current expectation is that faculty teaching online and blended courses are certified by completing Introduction to Teaching with Moodle, a self-paced course that focuses exclusively on Moodle skills and takes about 3-5 hours (or less) to complete. Upon successful completion, a Certificate is issued to the faculty member as evidence. Register for the course below.
